Our Story
Blue Energy Company was founded in 2006 by a group of veteran petroleum engineers with a shared vision: to build an energy services company that never compromised on safety or technical quality. Starting with a single onshore drilling contract in West Texas, we grew steadily by earning the trust of our clients one project at a time.
Today, Blue Energy operates across 30+ countries with a workforce of over 8,000 professionals. We have expanded from our drilling roots to offer a full spectrum of oil and gas services — from exploration and production to pipeline engineering, maintenance, and HSE compliance.
Our growth has always been guided by the same principles that founded the company: technical rigor, an uncompromising safety culture, and a deep commitment to the communities and environments where we operate.

Daniel Seo
Chief Executive Officer
30+ years of global oil & gas and energy industry leadership. As CEO of Blue Energy, he has led the expansion from onshore E&P into deepwater offshore operations, subsea development, pipe and cable laying, power generation, power plants, refineries, and integrated EPC projects. He provides strategic leadership in project development, EPC execution, international partnerships, and energy infrastructure, positioning Blue Energy for large-scale global energy projects.
Eyad Mohammed Abu Zuhair
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Leads the company’s daily operations and regional business activities. Develops new projects, partnerships, and business opportunities across the Middle East. Manages key relationships and coordinates clients, partners, contractors, and government stakeholders. Drives project execution and supports the company’s regional growth.
Maurice Gathua Kinyanjui
Chief Financial Officer
Senior finance executive experienced in banking, international project finance, investment structuring, and energy infrastructure. Leads financial strategy, capital planning, project evaluation, and funding initiatives. Builds relationships with banks, investors, governments, and strategic partners to secure capital and drive sustainable business growth.
ChangHo Kang
Chief Technical Officer
Professional Engineer and Ph.D. in Engineering with 30 years of experience in energy and infrastructure. Leads technology strategy, major engineering projects, and multidisciplinary teams, with a focus on safety, reliability, innovation, and sustainable growth.
